At Trainery, we believe HR technology shouldn’t just manage talent — it should enhance it. Too many platforms focus on tracking processes and enforcing compliance. That belief comes from experience. Trainery grew out of JER HR Consulting, a trusted partner to organizations for more than 30 years. Under the leadership of Mahesh Kumar, our team has guided hundreds of companies through the complexities of HR, compensation, and organizational design. That heritage means we don’t just build software — we build on decades of HR know-how to solve the problems HR leaders actually face.

Kelly Blackman

Operations and Product Manager

I am the longest tenured member on staff. Since coming originally to The Training Network and evolving to Trainery, my roles have grown exponentially with the addition of new products and acquisitions. One of the things I love most about my job and the organization is the fact that we have been in business for so long, and our staff and customers know how devoted we are to each other. When we say, “we’re here for you”, it’s not a slogan. We truly are there for each team member and our customers. A sale to us is not just a cash transfer, it is a safety and knowledge transfer. Our job is to make sure you have the tools to make your workplace safe and to do your job well. Making sure you go home safe and sound to your family at night means I get to go home to my family with a smile on my face.

I bring 20 years of experience working with Training Network and Trainery’s talent management technology solutions, working directly with our content providers to ensure that we maintain a strong selection of content, and value the relationships built with providers. I also work directly with clients to onboard, helping with setup, customization, and bridging any gaps. It is a pleasure for me to continue to provide support to our sales team and clients to ensure that they have the right training and talent management technology tools to help employees grow.
